The $1.2m electric Croatian Electric Supercar you have probably never heard of | Translogic 216

What is the craziest supercar you've probably never heard of? This is called the Rimac Concept_One, and it is a $ 1.2 million power plant. This episode of Translogic takes the host Jonathon Buckley and the crew of Croatia all the way to Spain just to be able to live one of those rare stopovers in Rimac.

We finally found the elusive vehicle on February 14th. Just out of the door, Bucko was invaded by the date of his Valentine's Day, the Rimac Concept_One. The date of our record was a coincidence, but it ended up reflecting how in love with this car we fell. With 1088 horsepower and 1600 foot-pounds of torque, it's easy to see what initially attracted us to the mysterious supercar.

Before driving the techno-filled speed demon, we had to sit down with 29-year-old Rimac Automobili CEO Mate Rimac to see what inspired him to create such a unique electric vehicle. It turns out, like another electric car company, you may have heard about, Mate was inspired by the work of Nikola Tesla. "Cars, electronics, Tesla, combining these passions, I thought why no one made [an] electric racing car?" Why, Mr Rimac? Why not.

Want to see the car in action and find out more about the crazy amount of tech packed under the hood? Well, you're in luck! Read the episode above to learn more about how the Rimac Concept_One can lead us directly into the future. And quickly.
