Scarlett Johansson drives futuristic Honda NM4 Vultus in 2017 cult anime

Honda designed a futuristic scooter NM4 Vultus that starred in the feature film Ghost in the Shell - and was edited by Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson.

The Vultus standard, launched in 2014, already resembles a science fiction film, but the team working on design for live-action adaptation has developed the NM4 as the film's hero bike.

Based on design sketches by Honda, and as seen in the trailer, protagonist Johansson rides the scooter in a futuristic world as a cyber-reinforced soldier on a permanent mission to arrest the most dangerous criminals in the world.

Unveiled in 2014, the standard Vultus is a blend of a comfortable scooter style with a cruiser, thanks to front walkers and long swept back bars. The articulated pillar seat can be lifted and used as a back rest for the rider.

However, the Ghost in the Shell Vultus has been transformed from a relaxed cruiser / scooter into an aggressive-looking sportsbike, complete with underslung exhaust, rearset footpegs instead of standard footboards, ultra-low clip-ons and a Elegant and minimalist tail.

The motorcycle design sketch (above) seems to allude to the central steering center, although with the vast expanse of bodywork surrounding the front wheel, it is much more likely to be standard forks. The Honda logo on the top fairing is distinguished from the black carbon fiber body with LED.

Honda Vultus is powered by the 745cc parallel-twin engine used in the new NC and X-ADV series, and comes with Honda's dual clutch transmission system (DCT). In a moment of prescience, Honda's original 2014 press reported: "The NM4 Vultus, with its LED lights, its future style and its stealth bomber silhouette presents a look that has not been seen in any urban This side of an animated film ... "

Now, three years later, the Vultus appears in the most anticipated animated films of all time.
