Watch: A kidnapped woman slips away from the trunk of a moving car

In case you've ever wondered if the incandescent handles inside the booths are important, here's some solid evidence. An Alabama woman managed to escape from the trunk of a Nissan Altima after an abduction attempt.

As AL.com reports, a 25-year-old Birmingham woman was forced into the trunk of a Nissan Altima black Tuesday by a man armament. The snatcher then drove to a nearby service station and tried to withdraw money from an ATM there, using the debit card of the kidnapped woman. As the attempt was not successful, the attacker returned to the car and left - and at that point the victim was able to open the trunk and escape from the car as she was already moving. The owner of the service station locked the doors of the building as the woman entered safely, and called the police.

Later, the car was found abandoned. The police are still looking for the suspect.
